Jonathan H. on the message ‘The Joy of the Lord’

This morning’s message has really encouraged me to seek the Lord more, because I realised that the joy of the Lord is something that will also come through trials and tests I will go through. It is not something I can just expect to fall from heaven, but it is something that the Lord is going to bring to my life as I go through those tests and the trials that He wants me to go through. Clearly, this will enable me to be real before the Lord, and will bring me to a closer relationship with Him. Thank you CTMI!

Sharna W. on the message ‘The Joy of the Lord’

I heard the message this morning from CTMI and was so encouraged and clearly understand now that joy is not an emotional feeling, but it is something that the Holy Spirit puts in our hearts. It is not based on our different situations and circumstances. What encouraged me most was to hear that even when we are going through difficult times, or facing trials in our lives, we can still find the joy of the Lord. When we reach out and ask the Lord to put His joy in our hearts, He will give it to us. Often when I go through difficult situations it’s easy for these things to crush me down and discourage me, but today the Lord has enlightened me to see that the joy that He will put in my heart will lift me up and will be my strength through times of hardship.

Noma M. on the message ‘The Joy of the Lord’

What Brother Miki (CTMI) shared this morning was very encouraging. I understood that if we have taken hold of the will of the Lord in our hearts, we are able to rejoice in whatever situations we go through. There may be things we don’t expect, or things that are difficult to go through, but then we realise that these things are in His will for us and are for the kingdom of God. Then, we can experience a wonderful joy, a true joy, that comes from faith deep within our hearts in knowing that we are accomplishing His will, and that His plan will prevail.

Derek C. on the message ‘The Joy of the Lord’

From what we’ve heard in this message, I think that many pastors will see the need to bring the people back to the true gospel, to remind them of what God wants to do in the hearts of the people, and the joy that accompanies this work. We see that it is when God is working in the hearts of the people, that the joy of the Lord is manifest. If we can bring the true message of a joy to serve our Lord Jesus, an eternal joy, a joy that is from the Lord, a joy that is real; and not a joy that is passing and comes from the world, then we will see people’s hearts and lives being built in the Lord. I bless the Lord for CTMI’s ministry.

Kamla P. on the message ‘The Joy of the Lord’

The message preached this morning, and in fact the message we always hear through the ministry of CTMI, is so important because very often, as Christians, we tend to look for a false joy in all sorts of temporary things and end up relying on them. These temporary things do not bring the true joy of the Lord to our lives, and they give us a momentary feeling of joy. We want to live a life with no worries, and no problems. However, we soon realise, as Brother Miki showed us in the Word of God, that this is not the Christian life. When we see the lives of all the men of God in the different gospels, for example the Apostles Paul and Peter, we see how they went through tough times, and yet the joy of the Lord was always there. At no time in their lives were they crushed down, but in their hearts they knew that the Lord was with them and His joy was there, and they were strengthened in that joy. As preacher stated, you can’t separate the joy of the Lord from the work of the Lord in our lives. I think that, as Christians, we need to take up our cross, expect the work of the Lord in our hearts, and accept the road that God is putting before us, so that we can have the joy of the Lord to be able to care for others.

Marc E. on the message ‘Christians Be Alert’

I was very encouraged to see how we need to identify with Christ, and to understand what the ‘suffering part’ of Christian life is all about. I see today that when we were born again we were called to lay down our lives for Jesus and to live for Him. We were called to live for a heavenly hope, and not to fix our eyes on the things of this world, but on the things that are to come. What CTMI preaches has refocussed my priorities and caused me to examine whether I am living for the Lord or for my own desires.

Marco S. on the message ‘Christians Be Alert’

It’s always wonderful to hear the truth of the gospel preached by CTMI without compromise and it’s definitely raised the bar and put a desire in me to give even more of my life. I often thought this was too radical a message, calling us to suffer, to deny ourselves; but it’s so clear that this is how the Christians in in the Early Church lived; suffering was the foundation of their lives, it was normal Christian life. So it’s nothing radical at all, and I want to identify my life with the cross of Jesus, because I need my sin to be dealt with. I need to hear this message that doesn’t feed my flesh, but deals with my life and changes me.
